While the Formula 1 As the 2025 season draws to a close on the Yas Marina circuit, another equally prestigious event is about to set Abu Dhabi ablaze. On December 5, RM Sotheby's will kick off an exceptional auction at the luxurious St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort. The event is already shaping up to be the pinnacle of automotive passion in the Middle East, bringing together art, design, jewelry, watches, real estate and, of course... exceptional cars.

Rendezvous at the summit of automotive luxury

Conceived in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, this first edition of Collectors' Week is a celebration of refinement and rarity. The ambition: to bring together in one place the world's most exclusive pieces, from works of art to hypercars. And on the car side, the line-up matches the glitz and glamour on display.

Among the 21 automotive lots, Italian brands once again dominate the scene with a total of ten models, including one Pagani, two Lamborghinis and seven Ferraris, for an estimated total of around 24 million $.

The Pagani Zonda Riviera: a $10 million masterpiece

The star of the sale, the Pagani Zonda Riviera (2006), is already attracting attention. Valued at between $9.5 and $10.5 million, this unique creation from Modena perfectly embodies Horacio Pagani's philosophy: a blend of craftsmanship, power and technical daring. With its naturally-aspirated AMG V12 and bodywork combining carbon fiber and polished aluminum, it is as much a rolling work of art as a mechanical legend.

Lamborghini

Two Sant'Agata Bolognese icons complete the sale's most desirable Italian trio. The first, a Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary (1988) designed by Bertone, celebrates the quintessence of 80s design. Its estimate of between $550,000 and $750,000 is a reminder that the Countach myth remains timeless.

The second, a Murciélago Roadster (2006), has a more contemporary elegance and a mechanical brutality typical of Lamborghini V12s. Its estimate, between $500,000 and $600,000, could well rise on sale night, buoyed by the fervor of the collectors present.

Ferrari: seven jewels of Maranello

But the real show of force will come from Ferrari, with seven exceptional models spanning more than three decades of Italian performance and elegance. These include :

  • The legendary Ferrari F40 (1990), estimated at between $3.2 and $3.7 million, the ultimate symbol of analog supercars.
  • A LaFerrari (2014), hybrid and visionary, priced between $3 and $3.5 million.
  • The recent Ferrari SF90 XX Spider (2024), the first road-legal model in the XX series, estimated at between $1.5 and $1.9 million.
  • A rare Ferrari SA Aperta (2011), a sublime convertible interpretation of the 599 GTO.
  • The timeless 599 GTO, 458 Speciale A, and 458 Speciale, some of which will be offered without a reserve price.

Between the roar of the Ferraris and the rarity of the Pagani, the RM Sotheby's event on December 5 promises to thrill the world of Italian supercars. A final burst of emotion to conclude the 2025 season. Note that the sale will also include a McLaren F1 estimated at over 21 million $!
