In 2020, the Maserati MC20 marked the trident brand's return to the world of supercars. Elegant, powerful and refined, it already embodies a modern icon. But for some, that's not enough: they want an even more unique MC20. That's where 7Design comes in, a New York-based company founded in 2021: "Our mission is to shape the icons of tomorrow," says 7Design.
Carbon art by 7Design
Their approach is not limited to aesthetics. Each body kit is designed around aerodynamics, wind-tunnel tested and engineered to sublimate the identity of the vehicle. Maserati. Their "ARIA Carbon" range includes hoods, diffusers, spoilers, splitters, rocker panels and air intakes. The figures speak for themselves:
- +123 % aerodynamic efficiency
- +199 lbs (90 kg) of downforce at 160 km/h
- +795 lbs (360 kg) of downforce at 320 km/h
These data place the MC20 reviewed by 7Design closer to a racing car than a classic road-going supercar.
Eye-catching creations
Flamboyant red, electric blue, bold green, brilliant yellow or intimidating matte black... the Maserati MC20s revisited by 7Design are true works of art on wheels. Each one impresses with its presence. An estimated twenty projects have already been created, each with its own personality.
And customers have the choice of entrusting a complete project to 7Design, or simply ordering specific components from their online store, to upgrade their MC20 step by step. The recent presentation of the Maserati MCPurathe successor to the MC20, leaves no room for doubt: with their similarities, 7Design will soon be able to offer kits for this new model.
