It screams, it accelerates like a missile, it sticks to the asphalt: the Maserati MCXtrema is not a car like the others. We saw it a few months ago in the South of Franceand now this circuit beast is back in the news thanks to an exceptional video filmed in action at Goodwood 2025.
The privilege of driving it falls to Sean Hudspeth, Singaporean driver and official Ferrari instructor. He was Italian GT champion in 2019 and 2020, and in recent seasons has competed in GT World Challenge Europe Sprint in a Ferrari 296 GT3 for AF Corse, he got behind the wheel of the most extreme Maserati ever built.
In this POV video, the MCXtrema is revealed in all its brutality. Blistering acceleration, meticulous braking, instantaneous changes of support: you're literally transported on board, at over 200 km/h. A rare immersion in the world of Maserati.
A Maserati without compromise

Designed exclusively for the track, the Maserati MCXtrema is a radical car, not homologated for the road. Produced in just 62 examples, it embodies an uncompromising vision of performance. Under its hood is an advanced version of the 740 hp Nettuno V6 engine. Combined with an ultra-light carbon-fiber body, it weighs in at just 1250 kg. The power-to-weight ratio is simply insane.
At close to a million euros apiece, the MCXtrema is no toy for collectors. It's a war machine designed for the most demanding gentlemen drivers and pure thrill-seekers.
Maserati in the spotlight at Goodwood
Goodwood 2025 was a highlight for the trident brand. Not only did Maserati unveil the MCPurabut she also inaugurated a titanium exhaust system for the GT2 Stradale. Above all, it gave the public the chance to see the MCXtrema in action.
Thanks to Sean Hudspeth and this immersive video, today you too can experience what it means to drive one of the most extreme cars ever designed by Maserati.
