At a time when social networks are bursting at the seams with artificial intelligence-generated automotive illustrations, some creations immediately catch the eye for one simple reason: they have soul.
Alessandro Capriotti's project is one of them. For several months, the Italian designer worked behind the scenes. Historical research, stylistic reflection, coherence with the brand's DNA... Nothing was left to chance. When he finally unveiled his work, he insisted on the deeply personal aspect of his approach: this concept exists as much thanks to his passion as to the encouragement he received. His objective was not to design a car "in the style Lancia"It's a dialogue with history.
The Fulvia, a monument to automotive history
Introduced in 1963, the Lancia Fulvia is not just an elegant Italian coupé. It was a pivotal car. With its narrow V4 engine, sophisticated front-wheel drive and a chassis of rare precision for its time, it quickly became a dynamic benchmark. But it was especially in competition that it became a legend. In 1972, the Fulvia HF won Lancia's first manufacturers' world rally title, notably at the Monte Carlo Rally. It was the perfect symbol of what the brand stands for: aristocratic elegance combined with formidable sporting efficiency. Production ceased in 1976.

Reinterpreting without betraying
For Alessandro Capriotti, the challenge was clear: pay homage without falling into retro design.
Its starting point is the Pu+Ra Concept, the basis of Lancia's new styling language. The famous "chalice" on the front, the brand's historic signature, is here transformed into a modern lighting signature. The idea is strong: not to reproduce the chrome grille of yesteryear, but to translate its presence into a contemporary reading.

The result is a compact, almost minimalist coupé, where simple volumes immediately recall the original Fulvia without ever copying it. Surfaces are pure, proportions balanced, and the whole evokes a natural evolution rather than a nostalgic exercise. Even the interior adopts this philosophy: integrated but discreet technology, a warm ambience, and above all a desire for Italian elegance rather than digital demonstration.

A credible Lancia, not just a styling exercise
What's striking about this project is its industrial plausibility. We can really imagine this Fulvia as a niche model, an image-limited series intended to accompany the brand's renaissance. Capriotti himself poses the question: what if this concept were to enter the range? The proposal makes sense. In an increasingly homogeneous automotive landscape, Lancia could regain its historic role as a manufacturer of technical elegance, between measured sportiness and sophistication.

A vision true to the Lancia spirit
The Fulvia wasn't the most powerful, nor the most spectacular. It was the most refined in its sporting way. Alessandro Capriotti's work captures precisely this idea. Not a pastiche, not an unrealistic fantasy, but a coherent interpretation of a brand that has always known how to evolve without denying its identity. And that's probably why this project stands out more than many automatically generated images: here, every line tells a story. An Italian story. A mechanical culture. And perhaps, the outline of what Lancia could become again.

Ganz toll und zeitgemäß
Fantastico. Da gibt es nichts mehr zu überlegen. Bauen und auf die Straße damit.
