You can buy this little-used Lamborghini Revuelto with a price divided by three... there's just some work to be done...

It's the kind of ad that immediately catches the eye. A Lamborghini Revuelto, the Italian brand's latest hybrid jewel, at an almost unreal price: around €200,000. That's three times less than its new value. But as is often the case with this kind of deal, there's a detail... and not the least important one.

A dream supercar... with an eventful past

This 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto has been driven very little. Barely 1,650 miles (approx. 2,600 km) on the odometer. In other words, it was still practically new.

Its history, however, is already worthy of a film. After first being sold for around €600,000, its new owner only enjoyed it for a few days before destroying it in an accident. The exact circumstances are not known, but the images speak for themselves: the impact was violent. As a result, the car ended up on the American auction platform Copart, which specializes in damaged vehicles.

A broken price... for an obvious reason

The advert says it all: «total loss». The main damage is to the front of the vehicle, which has literally been pulverized. The bumper is gone, the headlights are missing, and the carbon structure is badly damaged. Added to this is damage to the right rear and, a sign of the violence of the impact, all the airbags have gone off. In these conditions, it's hardly surprising to see this supercar, estimated at nearly $700,000 (around €600,000), go for an auction peaking at around €200,000. And yet... someone has decided to take the plunge.

Sold on March 19, 2026

The announcement is now closed: the car was sold on March 19, 2026 at a CrashedToys sale in Texas. This means that a buyer deemed the project worthwhile. For behind this wreck still lies an exceptional machine.

The Revuelto is quite simply the new benchmark for Lamborghini a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 combined with three electric motors, for a total output of over 1,000 hp. 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 2.5 seconds, and top speed exceeds 350 km/h.

A bargain... or a money pit?

On paper, the equation looks simple: buy a €200,000 Revuelto, invest in repairs, and walk away with a hypercar worth three times as much. But the reality is quite different.

Between rebuilding the carbon chassis, replacing structural elements, on-board electronics and the entire hybrid system, the bill could quickly reach record heights. A good example is Matt Armstrong who repaired a Lamborghini Revuelto... at a loss !

It's a gamble. A gamble reserved for specialists, or enthusiasts prepared to invest heavily. But in the world of supercars, this kind of project always fascinates. And it's a safe bet that this battered Revuelto will enjoy a second life... in the hands of a mechanic as daring as he is passionate.
