The next Lamborghini, powerful and ultra-limited, hides under this sheet

The light is yellow, the sheet black, and beneath this mysterious silhouette lies the future Lamborghini. The Sant'Agata Bolognese brand has just unveiled the first official teaser for its future supercar, billed as the most powerful in its history: la Fenomeno.

"Fenomeno", a word that sounds like a promise. Derived from the Greek phainomenon literally meaning "phenomenon" in Spanish, this name was recently registered by Lamborghini, confirming the existence of this ultra-exclusive project. Like its rarer predecessors, the Reventón, Centenario, Veneno or Sesto Elemento, this Fenomeno is already in line with the "few-offs" dear to the brand.

Behind this dark canvas lies a mechanical monster: the Fenomeno is said to be based on the hybrid platform of the Revuelto, the first Lamborghini plug-in hybrid with 1,015 hp. But the comparison ends there: according to the most reliable sources, this new limited edition would happily exceed the 1,030 hp of the Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale, an absolute record for a Lamborghini homologated for the road.

And as if to underline its exclusivity, Lamborghini is planning a limited production run of just 29 examples worldwide. A rarity that should make this one of the brand's new ultimate collectors.

With this Fenomeno, Lamborghini continues to cultivate the art of the ultra-limited model. We still remember the Reventón, the first of its kind, or the Veneno, one of the most expensive ever produced, not forgetting the Sesto Elemento. Each of these models had a distinct DNA, but all shared the same goal: to push back the limits of exclusivity and performance.

To finally discover this "phenomenon" in all its curves, a date is set for next August at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California. A handful of privileged collectors will be the first to admire it, and perhaps sign an order form.
