The Lamborghini Murciélago already occupies an indisputable place in the history of supercars. But the one that has just reappeared on the second-hand market is not a Murciélago like the others: it's the very last Murciélago Roadster produced, a unique piece that marks the end of an era at Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The twilight of a myth

Unveiled in 2001, for almost a decade the Murciélago embodied the archetype of the furious bull from Lamborghiniwith its howling atmospheric V12 and brutal design. But in 2010, the story came to an end, and Lamborghini chose to celebrate the Roadster with a very limited series: the LP650-4 Roadster, produced in only 50 units worldwide. The model we're discovering today is not just any model: it's number 50/50, the last to leave the Italian factory.

Iconic configuration

Painted in Grigio Telesto with flamboyant Arancio accents, this Murciélago embodies the Lamborghini spirit: audacity. The 18" Hemera wheels in gloss black house orange brake calipers, reinforcing the visual aggressiveness of the whole.

The interior is asymmetrical and bespoke: Alcantara Nero on the driver's side, Nero Perseus leather on the passenger's side, with orange stitching. An atypical approach that accentuates the rarity of this latest Murciélago Roadster.

Under the hood is the beating heart of Lamborghini: the naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12, here boosted to 650 hp and 660 Nm of torque. Performance remains impressive even fifteen years later: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.

A unique opportunity... a future collector's item?

The example in question, boasting 18,817 miles (approx. 30,000 km), is currently being offered by Prestige Imports, a Miami-based dealer of exceptional cars. The asking price is worthy of the legend: $516,950 (approx. 450,000 euros). An inordinate sum for a Murciélago? It's not just a Murciélago, or even an LP650-4 Roadster: it's the last Murciélago Roadster ever built.

For collectors, the opportunity is exceptional. Few models can claim to embody both the end of a generation and the apogee of a lineage. This V12 Roadster should find a buyer very quickly.
