The Lamborghini Huracán that wanted to be a Diablo

And if the Lamborghini Huracan had a rebellious big sister in the 1990s? Here's a preparation that would undoubtedly have made the legendary Diablo blush, the demonic V12 supercar designed by Gandini and Donckerwolke. This demonic-looking red Huracan belongs to Alex Ona-Buen, known on the networks under the pseudonym Sotralex.

With its ultra-wide body, oversized fenders, racing aerodynamics and oversized spoiler with central fin, this Huracán looks as if it came straight from the imagination of a 1990s designer. Its low-slung chassis, sculpted air intakes and visual presence directly evoke the spirit of the analog supercars of the era, when the Diablo reigned supreme.

At the rear, the massive diffuser framed by twin tailpipes completes the infernal look. The wheels are by Rotiform. It's hard not to think of the Diablo SV, the models that marked an entire generation.

Of course, we're no longer in the era of the Diablo, or even of the Huracán, since Lamborghini is now preparing its successor with the new Temerario, but this car reminds us just how much the brand knew, and still knows, how to make purists' hearts beat faster. And something tells us that the Diablo would be proud of this crazy nephew.
