The first Lamborghini boat, with 16-cylinder engines and a total output of 7,900 hp, takes shape: first photo of its construction!

Lamborghini promised: his new 30-meter yacht would be a revolution on the water. Today, that promise is finally taking shape. The Italian Sea Group has just unveiled the first image of the construction of the very first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT, accompanied by a major announcement: the official entry into the "outfitting" phase, the heart of the process, where the vision becomes reality. And for the first time, a figure is officially circulating: 7,900 hp. More than the 7,600 hp announced at the world premiere.

A project that moves forward month by month

For those who have been following this saga since the beginning, the rhythm has become almost monthly. In September, Lamborghini unveiled the 101FT at the Monaco Yacht Show: a sculptural yacht inspired by the 30-meter-long hypercar Fenomeno, powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines. In October, we learned that the first unit had already been sold to an anonymous collector. And now, in November, the shipyard is entering the most crucial stage of her construction. This new photo, the very first from the yard, shows an already impressive hull, ready to receive all the technology that will make this yacht a sea monster.

With this new phase, the teams enter what Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group, describes as :

"The moment when the vision takes shape, when the concept becomes reality through technical precision and a culture of detail."

In concrete terms, this is where it all comes together: installation of the three V16s, integration of the electronic and navigation systems, layout of the cabins and cockpit inspired by the Temerario, installation of the front and rear lighting borrowed from Lamborghini design, interior finishes with Y and hexagonal patterns, paints and materials from the Ad Personam program. This is the moment when a simple volume becomes a Lamborghini... but on water.

Two yachts, one DNA: the 63 and the 101FT

This new stage also carries a subtle message from the site: 101FT is not an isolated project.
At its side often sits the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, the model that triggered this nautical adventure in 2020. "The 63 introduced a language; the 101FT develops it on a new scale."

7600 or 7900 hp?

At the time of its world premiere, the 101FT already boasted spectacular power: 7,600 hp from three 2,600 hp V16 engines. And many of you, in every article, have pointed this out to us:
"Three 2,600 hp engines make 7,800 hp, not 7,600! You guys suck at math!"

Except... that 7,600 hp figure came directly from Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group, making it impossible to come up with another. What's next? The latest press releases speak in black and white of 7,900 hp, or :

  • +300 hp compared with the first announcement,
  • +100 hp over the theoretical total of 3 × 2,600 hp.

Why? New calibration? Technical update? Honestly: no one will know. But what we do know is that we're now talking about a 7,900 hp Lamborghini yacht, officially. And that's even more spectacular.

We'll still have to be patient for the launch

Built in aluminum and carbon, 30 meters long, capable of 45 knots and accommodating 9 guests and crew in three cabins, the 101FT is a true Lamborghini of the seas. The first unit is due for delivery in 2027! But now that the machine has been launched, every new image is an event.
