Lamborghini Urus Furioso prepared by Venuum: to each his own!

There are preparations that everyone agrees on... and others that are instantly divisive. The Lamborghini Urus Furioso clearly belongs in the second category. The latest creation from tuner Venuum, this ultra-radical version of the Italian SUV set social networks alight a few days ago. And even if, let's be honest, the result won't please everyone, the figures speak for themselves: over a million followers on Instagram for Venuum and almost 30,000 likes for the Furioso's photos. When it comes to design, to each his own.

Venuum, signature excess

Originally from Spain, now based in Dubai, Venuum has made a name for itself with its deliberately excessive, radical and uncompromising preparations. There's no question of discretion or subtlety here. The Lamborghini The Urus Furioso's aggressive, almost cartoonish aesthetics seem to intimidate anything that rolls by. Venuum Black, the entity behind this project, makes no secret of its intentions: this SUV is presented as a dominant machine, designed to symbolically crush other crossovers. A vision perfectly consistent with the world of extreme tuning.

The Lamborghini Urus Furioso has definitively turned its back on its original configuration. Virtually every body panel has been replaced. The front end has been completely redesigned, with an aggressive grille, oversized air intakes and a hood literally covered with openings, supposed to improve cooling of the twin-turbo V8. Widened fenders transform the SUV's profile and give it a distinctly more intimidating stance. At the rear, the work is just as radical: a new bumper, a massive diffuser that seems to scrape the asphalt, and a spoiler integrated into the tailgate to optimize airflow. The whole is further accentuated by a special suspension system that visibly lowers ground clearance.

Despite its exuberance, the Furioso asserts its Italian identity. Venuum even calls it an "Italian version", highlighted by the green-white-red stripes inspired by the Italian flag, visible on the hood, roof, tailgate and rear bumper. The immaculate white hue may seem almost wise at first glance, but it contrasts deliberately with the aggressiveness of the body kit. A conscious aesthetic choice that further reinforces the model's provocative side.

Inside, Venuum follows exactly the same logic. White dominates, covering the seats, door panels and much of the interior. Here too, green, white and red highlights underline the "Italian" character of this Furioso version. The tuner promises an experience combining luxury, raw power and extreme sophistication - ambitious terms for a vehicle whose stylistic approach may seem, to some, too busy. But after all, tuning is above all a matter of personal perception.

No more power

Interestingly, despite all the talk about driving sensations, there's no mention of an increase in power. The Lamborghini Urus Furioso therefore retains its original powertrain. This means 800 hp for the Urus SE plug-in hybrid version, or 666 hp for the Urus Performante. These are already impressive figures, even without any mechanical intervention, but they contrast with the vehicle's visual extravagance.

An undeniable success on the networks

Venuum has announced a limited production run of 50 units, and there's little doubt that all of them will find takers. The appeal of exclusivity, the "one-off" aspect and the almost infinite customization possibilities appeal to a very specific clientele, looking for a spectacular and unique SUV. This Lamborghini Urus Furioso doesn't really appeal to me. But given the buzz it's generating online, it's hard to deny its impact. And perhaps that's what it's all about: provoking reactions and reminding us that, when it comes to automotive style, everyone has their own tastes.
