A few months after lifting the veil on the spectacular Temerario GT3, Lamborghini is back at it again, with another beast of the track: the Temerario Super Trofeo. Presented at the World Finals at Misano, this new machine marks a milestone in the history of Squadra Corse, the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based manufacturer's competition-customer division.
A direct heir to the Huracán Super Trofeo
Since 2009, the Italian brand has built up a veritable community of passionate drivers around the Lamborghini Super Trofeo single-brand championship, contested in Europe, Asia and North America. More than 1,300 drivers have already taken part in 563 races, first at the wheel of the Gallardo, then of the Huracán Super Trofeo, whose career will come to an end at the end of 2025. From 2027, the Temerario Super Trofeo will take over, becoming the sixth model designed specifically for this series.

Purebred without hybridization
While the road-going Temerario uses a hybrid architecture delivering almost 800 hp, the Super Trofeo version opts for mechanical purity. Beneath its aluminum and carbon bodywork lies a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 650 hp, transmitted solely to the rear wheels. No electrical systems here: Lamborghini promises raw sensations, for gentlemen drivers in search of unfiltered emotions.

This engine, shared with the GT3 version, is combined with a Hoer six-speed sequential gearbox. The whole system is based on an ALU/CFK hybrid chassis reinforced by an FIA-approved roll bar, a guarantee of rigidity and safety. A 12-step adjustable traction control system and competition ABS ensure that the full potential of this beast of the track is exploited.
Aerodynamics sculpted for performance
Visually, the Temerario Super Trofeo impresses. Every detail of its design is dictated by efficiency: plunging front splitter, side channels, ventilated wings, huge rear spoiler, massive diffuser, and Plexiglas windows to lighten the structure. All this is supported by a six-way adjustable KW suspension, while the Capristo exhaust and BMC filters enhance the melody of the V8.

New interior material
The performance-oriented interior features a new material: Dinamica Infinity. Developed especially for Lamborghini, this is a new type of suede-like fabric, fully synthetic and recyclable, specially designed for racing cars. Minimalist, ergonomic and lightweight, the interior immerses the driver in a world of pure racing, far removed from the ostentatious luxury of road models. In other words, goodbye alcantara.

The GT3 Temerario road link
For Lamborghini, this Super Trofeo is a bridge between the road and GT3 racing. Rouven Mohr, the brand's technical director, sums up the spirit of the project perfectly:
"The Temerario Super Trofeo is the ultimate expression of our fun-to-drive philosophy. It's the pure racing version of the road-going Temerario, and the ideal entry point to GT3 competition."
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann agrees:
"Lamborghini wasn't born as a racing brand, but our customers pushed us to create cars dedicated to circuits. With the Temerario Super Trofeo, we're taking the next step in offering a total driving experience."
See you in 2027
Still at the concept stage, the Temerario Super Trofeo will make its competition debut in 2027, in the Super Trofeo Europe, Asia and North America championships. With its 650 hp, beastly looks and total lack of electrification, it promises to be the wildest of modern Lamborghinis.
