Only a few weeks after its presentation at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, the very first Tecnomar Lamborghini 101FT has already found a buyer. Unsurprisingly, it's an anonymous millionaire who has bought this floating jewel of Italian design and nautical power.
The announcement was made on LinkedIn by Giacomo Sorlino, yacht broker at Banchero Costa Network, who said he was "delighted to announce the sale of one of the first units of the 101FT". This prestigious yacht, the fruit of collaboration between Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group (which has already produced the Lamborghini 63), had caused a sensation at the of its world premiere at the end of September.
A 7,600-horsepower monster on the waves

Approximately 30 meters (101 feet) long, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each developing 2,600 hp individually. The result is a cumulative power output of 7,600 hp, capable of propelling the yacht at 45 knots (over 80 km/h). Three propellers provide traction, while two 35 kW generators power the on-board systems.

Luxury, technology and exclusivity
The exterior leaves no doubt about its DNA. Inspired by the Lamborghini Fenomeno, the yacht boasts a sharp silhouette, taut lines and a bright yellow livery christened Giallo Crius. Even the lighting signature recalls the supercars of Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The interior features the famous Y and hexagon motifs, a supercar steering wheel and an Aventador-style starter button. Customers can, of course, personalize every detail via an Ad Personam-inspired program.

Unlike the previous Tecnomar 63, focused on pure speed, the 101FT focuses more on the balance between performance and comfort. It can accommodate up to nine guests in luxurious suites, complemented by three crew cabins. Each model will be produced on demand, guaranteeing total exclusivity. The model sold in October marks the beginning of a new era for Lamborghini, beyond the road.

Immediate success
This rapid success confirms that Lamborghini has found its place in the world of luxury yachting. As brand CEO Stephan Winkelmann sums up:
"With the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT, we're transposing Lamborghini DNA to the sea: performance, design and innovation come together in a yacht that redefines the concept of nautical luxury."
And when you consider that Lamborghini is already thinking about hybrid versions of its future boats, this first sale is undoubtedly just a foretaste of a new Lamborghini wave.

After the French mistakes, here are the arithmetical errors: since when does 3x2600hp = 7600hp? Before publishing, get out your calculators if it's too complicated to do in your head...
The same remark was made to me in a previous article about this boat. On the technical data sheet, the engines are individually rated at 2600 hp. The boat builder claims 7600 hp. What more do you need to know? For French mistakes, you can email me if there are any. Anyway, it's all very well to take the time to comment on maths lessons, but it would be better if you were commenting on the subject.
The Lamborghini 101FT's cumulative output of 7,600 hp, despite three engines of 2,600 hp each, reflects a realistic consideration of mechanical losses, power management and technical constraints, rather than a simple mathematical addition.
There isn't really one propeller per motor. To synchronize these 3 motors requires energy, so there's a "loss" in the final power.
