In Vietnam, he transforms an ordinary Nissan into a Lamborghini Revuelto replica

In Vietnam, automotive imagination and resourcefulness reach new heights. On their YouTube channel NHẾT TV, already known for its improbable replicas of Bugatti Chiron, LaFerrari and Koenigsegg Jesko, the team has embarked on a new challenge: transforming an old Nissan Maxima from the 90s into a replica of a Lamborghini Revuelto, the latest V12 hybrid supercar priced at over €500,000.

From wreck to supercar

It all began with a Nissan Cefiro A32 (also sold as a Maxima) purchased from the scrapyard for just $199, and found half-sunken in a creek. Rather than restore it, the team decided to give it a makeover. The original 3.0L V6 engine was preserved and restored. Then came the construction of a new steel structure.

From this skeleton, they cut metal plates to form the general lines of the body. Then, like sculptors, they cover the whole with clay to model every detail: aggressive air intakes, sharp edges, characteristic proportions. Once the shape has been judged to be faithful, the body is built in fiberglass on the basis of these molds.

Interiors and finishes

The same process is applied to the interior. The dashboard, central tunnel and seats are first brought to life in clay before being reproduced in fiberglass. Admittedly, this is a far cry from the luxury of a real Lamborghini.

Nearly a year's work

It took 350 days, almost a full year, to complete. The result is a silhouette so convincing that it could fool an inattentive enthusiast. Of course, there's no 1015 hp V12 hybrid under the hood, but the magic is in the aesthetics.

A Vietnamese specialty

This transformation is not a trial run for NHẾT TV. Before this Revuelto, the team had already struck hard with a Chiron and a LaFerrari. Each time, the same mix of metal, clay and fiberglass was used to fashion replicas of unattainable supercars.
