He loads concrete onto the roof of his $350,000 Lamborghini... then tows a Ford pickup with: »Google says 40 kg!»

It's probably one of the most unlikely uses of a Lamborghini ever seen on the internet. An American youtuber has decided to put a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato estimated at $350,000... by treating it like a real worksite utility vehicle. The result? A video that's absurd, spectacular and painful to watch for supercar enthusiasts.

A Lamborghini designed to go off-road

The Huracan Sterrato is not a Lamborghini like no other. Produced in just 1499 examples, it represents the most radical and atypical version of the Huracan. Above all, it is one of the brand's last models to be equipped with the naturally-aspirated V10, before the widespread switch to hybridization.

Unlike the usual supercars from Sant'Agata Bolognese, this version was designed to leave the asphalt behind. It features a suspension raised by around 5 cm, imposing fender extensions, additional rally-style headlamps and, above all, Bridgestone all-terrain run-flat tires capable of running even without pressure.

Another surprising detail for a Lamborghini: the Sterrato comes standard with a roof rack, designed to carry equipment for an off-road escapade. It was precisely this detail that gave the owner of this car an idea that was, to say the least,... original.

Turning a supercar into a utility vehicle

American content creator Sean Gatz, followed by millions of followers on social networks, is known for his videos about nomadic desert life, van life and DIY projects. But this time, he decided to test the strength of his Lamborghini in a rather radical way. In his video, he begins by subjecting the supercar to a kind of urban durability test. Climbing sidewalks, passing over improvised obstacles and making rough maneuvers: the Lamborghini quickly takes its first knocks and even loses a small piece of bodywork.

Head for the DIY store

The most unlikely sequence comes when he stops at a DIY store to buy... bags of concrete. The Sterrato's luggage rack is officially rated to carry 40 kg. A limit that the youtuber immediately decided to test by stacking several bags of material on the roof of his Lamborghini.

Wooden planks, bags of concrete and securing straps: the Italian supercar is transformed into an improvised pick-up truck. The result is quite surreal: a matte green Lamborghini, loaded with construction equipment, rolling down the road as if nothing had happened.

Of course, the experiment didn't go off without a hitch. After a few kilometers, the video's author noticed that concrete dust had infiltrated the engine's intake area. He then tries to clean the interior with a damp cloth and cardboard to prevent the dust from penetrating further into the V10. Even the tires take a beating: one ends up with a nail stuck in it, but the run-flat tires keep the car running.

A Lamborghini towing a pickup truck

As if that wasn't enough, he then decided to test his supercar's towing capabilities. Lacking a rear hitch, he installed the towing hook at the front and tried to pull a stuck Ford F250 out of a ditch. Against all the odds, the Lamborghini actually managed to pull the big American pick-up out of position. A totally improbable scene!

A supercar abused... but still alive

Despite bumps, dust, bags of concrete and even an attempted tow, the Huracan Sterrato seems to have survived this impromptu durability test. Its owner even concludes that the car passed the test «with flying colors», while admitting that he had already taken a huge financial risk to produce this video.

This unexpected demonstration also proves something: the Huracan Sterrato is probably one of the strongest Lamborghinis ever produced. And certainly the only one capable of carrying bags of concrete on its roof.
