A Lamborghini Aventador for the French police!

Motorists and passers-by couldn't believe their eyes: a Lamborghini Aventador in the colors of the French national police force has been spotted driving in convoy on French roads, accompanied by a McLaren, a Porsche 992 GT3, and even an impressive Italian police Lamborghini Urus Polizia SUV. It may sound like a scene from an action movie, but the reality is far more peaceful. In fact, these exceptional cars are taking part in a very special exhibition organized as part of the Foire Internationale et Gastronomique de Dijon, from November 7 to 9, 2025.

Supercars in uniform

The Amicale des policiers de la Côte-d'Or is behind this spectacular initiative. Every year, the association brings together around twenty vintage and prestige police vehicles on the forecourt of the Parc des Expositions, in an atmosphere halfway between motoring passion and public awareness.

The star of this year's show: the Lamborghini Aventador in "Police Nationale" livery, a car unique in France and on loan from a collector. Around it, visitors can admire a Porsche GT3, a McLaren, a Dodge Ram TRX and a vintage Plymouth Fury. But the most impressive star is undoubtedly the genuine Lamborghini Urus Polizia from Italy, a vehicle actually used by transalpine law enforcement agencies, with 666 hp and full police equipment.

Between passion, solidarity and proximity

Behind this display of mechanical power lies a far more human objective: to bring the police closer to the public and create a bond. As the event's organizer, Major Sébastien Tournier, points out, "it's a communication, recruitment and solidarity operation".

Each morning, children from associations such as Orphéopolis (police orphans) and Rétinostop (retinoblastoma patients) are offered rides in the cars. In the afternoon, the public can chat with police officers, find out about the various logistics and mechanical professions, and of course get up close and personal with these extraordinary vehicles.
