Fiat Grande Panda hybrid: an unbeatable price in its home country

While the production of Fiat Grande Panda remains complicated in Serbia, in particular due to a shortage of skilled workersthe new Italian B-SUV is starting to make its entry into the various European markets. Among the available versions, it's the 110 hp hybrid version that looks set to be the most popular. Priced at €18,900 in most European countries, this version is already well positioned against its rivals... but it's in Serbia, where it's assembled, that it's offered at the lowest price.

Unbeatable launch price

On the official Fiat Serbia configurator, the Fiat Grande Panda hybrid is advertised at €17,750, some €1,000 less than in other European countries. But Fiat goes one step further: to coincide with the model launch, a special offer gives you the chance to take away with the Grande Panda hybrid for just €16,990, no strings attached.

Offer a new, well-equipped 110hp hybrid urban SUV for less than €17,000, that's almost unique in Europe today. This price makes the Grande Panda one of today's best deals for anyone looking for an economical, versatile new vehicle. It's also a nice spotlight for Fiat in Serbia, promoting local production despite the difficulties it faces.

An even cheaper version to come

And Fiat has no intention of stopping there. The Italian manufacturer is already preparing an even more affordable entry-level versionequipped with a manual gearbox and no hybridization. The result is a car that competes head-on with the low-cost combustion-powered city cars still on the European market.

  1. Promos for a car that leaves itself to be desired, as it is rare or non-existent in dealerships. A success that was predictable, and therefore a production rate that was also predictable, but apparently not planned. There's one thing I don't understand. Fiat never pulled this stunt before, and they could really use a sales boost right now in Europe. Let's hope they can soon flood Europe with this super Panda.

Danke!

  3. There's one thing I don't understand... In Serbia, the currency is the Dinar! Does Fiat.rs (Serbia) convert to euros for non-Serbian sites? If that's the case, the price means nothing, since it's the current exchange rate between the 2 currencies that determines the price.... And what's more, we don't know the sales conditions in Serbia. In France it's turnkey, which is rarely the case in most other countries!

    • I couldn't agree more. In fact, I was expecting to make the conversion. Then I saw the info on a Serbian news site that was already displaying the price in euros and I discovered in the configurator and then in the promo a price in euros. I don't know why, but I'd be surprised if they had fun updating the price every week.
