And if Ferrari decided one morning to throw it all away? No more €50,000 triple-coat paintwork, forged wheels or exposed carbon bumpers. On Reddit, a user by the name of Luvvsss had fun imagining the unthinkable: Ferraris reduced to the bare minimum, as if Maranello had set out to produce "entry-level" versions. White paint with no particular sheen, unpainted black plastic bumpers, sheet-metal wheels, high-sided tires... the kind of configuration you'd expect to find on a company fleet car rather than an Italian supercar. And yet, the result intrigues, makes you laugh... and sometimes even seduces.
Visual shock
See a Ferrari LaFerrari or a Ferrari Enzo This stripped-down look provokes a slight mental short-circuit. The proportions remain intact, as do the lines, but everything that screams "luxury" has disappeared. In its place is sobriety, as if these Ferraris had just stepped out of a supermarket parking lot on a Monday morning.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale and the recent Ferrari 12Cilindri are no exception, and neither is the Ferrari Purosangue. Even Maranello's SUV suddenly loses all visual arrogance with its black plastics and steel wheels. It's as if Ferrari had ticked the "utility pack" option.

Between mockery and no-frills Ferraris
Unsurprisingly, reactions were swift. Between humor and other reflections :
"Finally, one I can probably afford", "Mdr, it would still cost €250,000."; "Frankly, I like it more than the original." or "It's like a basic Prius". At heart, these "low-cost" Ferraris aren't just fun. With no apparent carbon, no artifice, the lines speak for themselves. Of course, Ferrari would never do that. But seeing a Ferrari that looks like a normal car is almost more provocative than any multimillion-euro supercar.
