What car enthusiast hasn't dreamed of displaying their car in their living room? In Dubai, some go much further. A local entrepreneur has caused quite a stir by hanging a " Ferrari A "candelabra" on the ceiling of his huge living room.
The image is spectacular: a bright red supercar floats in the center of a luxurious room, literally lighting up the scene. From a distance, it looks like a Ferrari LaFerrari, one of the Italian brand's rarest and most expensive models. But on closer inspection, it's actually a stunning replica of... a jet ski!
Designed by EDrive Jetcar, this LaFerrari imitation is not for the road, but for the sea. It was transformed into a decorative object by content creator @movlogs, in collaboration with EDrive. Installation was no simple matter: the machine had to be brought into the house, stowed securely and then carefully hoisted up to the ceiling to avoid any risk of falling.
The result was unveiled in a video that went viral. Online reactions are divided. Some praised the creativity and excessiveness of the project. Others, on the other hand, feel that this imitation hanging in a living room gives the whole thing a "cheap" look.
It has to be said that if the man had really hung up a genuine Ferrari LaFerrari, which fetches between 4 and 5 million euros, the operation would have been both perilous... and extravagant.
In any case, the idea has got people talking. And if you don't have the space to install a car in your living room, maybe you too can think about hanging it!
