Having a Ferrari The F40 is an unattainable dream for most enthusiasts: the finest examples are currently selling for over 3 million euros. But here's your chance... well, almost.
This unique F40 is called F-Racer Junior. Built in 1992, it is one of only 10 units ever produced in this configuration. And surprise, it's painted black, a rare shade even on the real F40. Size? Perfect for two children... or for an adult ready to relive his or her childhood dreams in miniature.

Small size, big engine
Beneath the bodywork inspired by the legendary supercar lies a 270 cm³ petrol engine capable of pushing this replica to 56 km/h. That's not highway driving, but it's more than enough to have fun on a long driveway, a private lot... or why not a golf course?

On the technical side, the F-Racer Junior makes no bones about it: four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes, independent suspension, rear differential, Plexiglas on the hood and a rear spoiler worthy of the original.
Inside, the ambience is sober: a flat-rimmed steering wheel, a dashboard with carbon inserts, a few functional meters and a simple floor mat. In short, everything you need to feel like you're in a supercar... but on a smaller scale.

More affordable than a real Ferrari F40... but still not cheap
RM Sotheby's is preparing to offer this unique example for sale, hoping to fetch between $30,000 and $50,000. Yes, that's a lot for a "pocket car", but it's still a lot less than a real F40.
If your banker grimaces at the mention of a full-size Ferrari F40, this miniature version could well be your next acquisition: rare, and compact enough to park... in your living room.
