If there were a secret garage beneath the Batcave, it would no doubt house this Ferrari Purosangue prepared by Novitec. The famous German tuner, accustomed to preparing Italian cars without ever going overboard, has just unveiled its own vision of the Maranello SUV. The result: a black beast, stealthy, aggressive and above all... more powerful.

Called Novitec Esteso, this revised version of the Purosangue commands respect at first glance. Photos posted on the tuner's Instagram account show an SUV with the allure of a nocturnal predator, covered in a satin black covering contrasted by a few touches of gloss black and clearly visible red calipers behind the Y-spoke wheels. The all-carbon body kit remains true to Novitec's philosophy of improving without altering.

New features include a redesigned, more aggressive hood, a specific front bumper, muscular fender extensions, thickened side skirts, and a ducktail-type spoiler at the rear. The whole package subtly transforms the Purosangue's silhouette.
The interior follows the same tone: black leather, suede, a touch of red on the stitching and embroidered logos on the headrests... a perfect contrast between luxury, sportiness and discretion.

But Novitec's most distinctive touch can't be seen: it can be heard. Under the hood, the 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 has not been replaced, and thankfully so. However, thanks to a new exhaust system, power rises from 725 to 745 hp, while the sound gains in depth. All of which makes the roar of the prancing horse even more bewitching.

Still capable of 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h, this Esteso version isn't about breaking records. A stealthy design, a V12 engine and an almost intimidating presence: this Purosangue Ferrari by Novitec is the dream Batmobile for billionaires.

As much as Mansory is a "massacreur", Novitec is a "sublimeur".
Just the work on the escapement and the harmonics obtained are worth their weight in gold.
Every acceleration, in addition to the physical effect on passengers, is transformed into aural ecstasy.
Just watching and listening to the video through the microphone of a normal smartphone could give you goose bumps, so I can't even imagine on the spot.
As we drive through the forest, in the fading light of an autumn evening, the deep, powerful sound of the V12 rises, brightening and intensifying as the car arrives and then passes in front of us like a flash of ebony, a sound that suddenly recedes and rises again in so many cataracts emanating from the exhaust, witness to a cascade of gear changes.
From these sylvan roads, listening to this symphony in V12 major, you'd think you were back on the edge of the Mancelle countryside in the days of Scuderia's glorious sports prototypes: P4 / 512 S / 312 PB.
No way!
This is indeed the massive silhouette (all things considered) of a Ferrari Utility Véhicule, 50% taller than the aforementioned sports prototypes and at the very least three times heavier. But with 200 to 300 horsepower 🐎 more.
The sound/image contrast is striking.
In any case, a video to be treasured for future generations, to show them that there was a time when cars could arouse emotions.
So bravo for Novitec, which has succeeded in exacerbating all the qualities of Purosangue without falling into bad taste. Much but not too much!
