Mysterious owner wins €75 million for her incredible car collection, including 33 Ferraris, 3 Paganis and 2 Lamborghinis

A month ago, we reported on the sale of an exceptionally extensive automobile collection: The Tailored for Speed Collectiona selection of 42 cars, almost entirely made up of Ferrariestimated at the time at 50 million euros. The auction has now taken place, and the result exceeds all expectations: over 69.6 million Swiss francs, or around 75 million euros in total.

But what intrigues most is the identity of the mysterious collector. Officially kept secret, it seems to have been guessed by motoring enthusiasts: several racing models sold at auction clearly bear the signature of the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames programs, two teams supported by Deborah Mayer, a well-known figure in women's motorsport and former President of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission.

33 Ferraris, 3 Paganis, 2 Lamborghinis and more

At the auction organized by RM Sotheby's at Zurich's Dolder Grand Hotel, the room vibrated to the sound of every hammer. Ferrari reigned supreme: 33 models, spanning over fifty years of Maranello history, from the 365 GT 2+2 (1968) to the Daytona SP3 (2024).

The figures are dizzying:

  • Ferrari Daytona SP3 (2024): €5.75 million
  • LaFerrari Aperta (2017): €5.68 million
  • FXX-K Evo (2016): €5.62 million
  • 333 SP (1998): €5.59 million
  • FXX Evo (2008): €4.35 million
  • F40 (1989): nearly €3.2 million

But the collection was not limited to Ferrari. Three Pagani were among the most sought-after lots:

  • Huayra Roadster BC (2021): €4.80 million
  • Utopia (2024): €3.50 million
  • Huayra R (2022): €2.53 million

And two Lamborghini completed the picture:

  • Sián FKP 37 (2021): €2.23 million
  • Huracán Tecnica 60th Anniversary (2024): €392,000

Added to this were some prestigious guests: a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport (2023) sold for €4.35 million, and two Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series and GT2 Pro, true track machines, as well as a Bentley Continental GT3-R for fans of English muscle cars.

A historic sale

With a total of CHF 69,675,125 raised (excluding commissions), the Tailored for Speed auction is now the largest single car sale in Europe in 2025.

RM Sotheby's hailed "an eclectic, coherent and extraordinarily well-preserved collection". And with good reason: each car had been personally selected by its owner, often in bespoke configurations or linked to special Ferrari programs.

If the financial success of this sale is undeniable, why sell such an extraordinary collection? Some observers see it as a strategic refocusing on the DC Racing Group's sporting activities (Iron Lynx, Iron Dames), while others point to a partial withdrawal from the private car world to concentrate on new projects.
