Private automobile collections are the stuff of myth. But rarely does one of them find its way onto the market in its entirety. Yet this is what's about to happen in Switzerland, at the prestigious Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, where an absolutely extraordinary collection will be auctioned off: 41 cars, including 32 Ferraris, 3 Paganis and 2 Lamborghinis, for an overall estimate approaching 50 million euros.

Called The Tailored for Speed Collection, this selection is the work of a single owner who has devoted years to bringing together some of the rarest and most coveted models in modern automotive history.

Iconic Ferraris as far as the eye can see

The heart of the collection is, of course, Ferrari. All the layers of Maranello's history are represented:

  • Classics like the 365 GT 2+2 (1968), the 365 GTB/4 Daytona (1973) and the 512 BB (1978).
  • Cult youngtimers like the Testarossa 'Monodado' (1987), the F40 (1989), or the 360 Modena and Spider of the 2000s.
  • And above all, the recent hypercars and limited series that are the stuff of collectors' dreams: the LaFerrari (2014), the extremely rare LaFerrari Aperta (2017), the Daytona SP3 (2024) and the Monza SP1 (2021).

Not forgetting the track machines that marked Ferrari's XX programs: the 599XX Evo, the FXX K Evo, and the extraordinary 333 SP (1998), a true endurance legend.

Other rarities from Pagani and Lamborghini

The collection is not limited to Ferrari. Three Pagani are among the jewels of the sale:

  • The Huayra Roadster BC (2021),
  • La Huayra R (2022),
  • And the very recent Pagani Utopia (2024), already a collector's item.

Two Lamborghini masterpieces:

  • La Sián FKP 37 (2021).
  • A Huracán Tecnica 60th Anniversary (2024).

Other guest models

While Ferrari and Pagani dominate, the collection also includes some prestigious guests:

  • A Bugatti Chiron Super Sport (2023),
  • Two ultra-exclusive Mercedes-AMGs: the GT2 Pro (2024) and the GT Track Series (2022).
  • And even a Bentley Continental GT3-R (2016), a rare homologated version of a racing car.

In total, the collection covers more than five decades of automotive history, from the late 1960s to the most recent models delivered in 2024. The auction, held in Zurich, is sure to attract the world's leading collectors. For it's not just about buying a car: it's about getting your hands on models that have become almost unattainable, brought together in one place.
