Buy a FerrariIt's often the dream of a lifetime. But what happens when that dream hides a much more expensive reality? That's what this German youtuber discovered when he bought a Ferrari 360 Modena... with 207,000 km on the clock!
And there's nothing ordinary about this Ferrari from the 2000s: with invoices to back it up, it has already accumulated over €100,000 in repairs since it was first put on the road. Among them, one in particular catches the eye: ucomplete engine overhaul in 2008, at 100,000 km, costing €48,489. And let's not forget the recent F1 overhaul, with replacement of the gearbox, clutch and sensors at a cost of almost €20,000!
A Ferrari with over 200,000 km... is it worth it?

With its black metallic bodywork, 207,000 km and yellow repainted engine intakes, this model has everything to divide. In terms of maintenance, everything has been done: new F1 gearbox, clutch, complete overhaul, paintwork, renovated interiors... but does this justify a price of €72,500? When other Ferrari 360s with half the mileage command the same price, it begs the question.
The video shows a healthy, noiseless vehicle, still performing well despite its age. But a number of typical weaknesses are mentioned: doors that play up, wear and tear on interior controls...
"What makes it so rare here is the extraordinary maintenance and mileage. A Ferrari 360 with 207,000 km? You never come across one," Hamid sums up.
A Ferrari with 200,000 km: buy or flee?
This case reopens a debate: is it better to have a well-maintained Ferrari with many kilometers... or a "false bargain" with few kilometers but no clear history? Especially since, according to Hamid, this Ferrari would have cost more in repairs than its current value.
