Just a month ago, she was talking about why she had bought a Ferrari Testarossa for everyday riding. Not to keep under a cover. Not to look at it in a garage. But to live it.
Today, her life has taken a new turn. Victoria Bruno, the passionate mechanic who made her mark by fully embracing her choice to ride a Ferrari former daily, has just announced a major career move. And she sums it up in two simple, almost disarming words: «I've got a new job».
From the Testarossa in his garage to the professional turnaround
When she appeared alongside Jay Leno With her black 1987 Testarossa, Victoria Bruno was already embodying something different. An almost anti-conformist approach to Ferrari classic. She wasn't dreaming Ferrari. She drove it. She repaired it herself. She understood it.

Her career path was already atypical: back to school at the age of 27, demanding training at McPherson College, followed by a rapid immersion in the very closed world of high-end automotive restoration. She went on to work for Patrick Ottis Company, California's benchmark for classic Ferraris, before launching her own business with Motori Bruno. But in March 2026, everything accelerated.

«Dream big»: the announcement that changes everything
On Instagram, the message is short, but heavy with meaning: «Dream big». Victoria Bruno officially announces her appointment as Classic Mechanical & Heritage Director at LAPIS Automotive, a fast-growing American group in the automotive luxury sector.
It's a job that goes far beyond simple mechanics. For behind this title lies a strategic responsibility: to manage, preserve and enhance the mechanical heritage of exceptional brands, while supervising the technical standards of vehicles that are often rare, complex and steeped in history.
At the same time, she also joined Ferrari of Rancho Mirage as a technician, a dealership integrated into the LAPIS group. A dual role that confirms one thing: she's no longer just a passionate mechanic. She's becoming a rising figure in the classic Ferrari world.
From independent mechanic to manager
A month ago, she explained why she refused to make her Testarossa sacred. Today, she's going to have to do exactly the opposite... but on a different scale.

Preserving, structuring and supervising the mechanical heritage of legendary brands, while retaining the pragmatic approach that defines it. From «I repair my Ferrari» to «I oversee the mechanical heritage of Ferrari and other luxury brands».
Understanding the machine. Respect it. And above all, never be afraid to use it. Victoria Bruno bought a Testarossa to live her dream. One month later, that dream is reshaping her career. Well done, Victoria!
