
In just a few days' time, from July 3 to 6, Le Mans Classic will be back in action on the legendary Sarthe circuit. More than 700 cars in six historic grids (from 1923 to 1981) and three support grids will take to the track to relive the great hours of endurance racing. Among these jewels, Italy will, as always, be worthily represented, with mythical models from Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari, Lancia, not forgetting a few rarities such as Bizzarrini. Here's a selection of this year's must-see Italians, tray by tray.
Tray 1 (1923-1939)
Alfa Romeo 8Cs will dominate this first line-up dedicated to the pre-war era. A true queen of the circuit in the '30s, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 will be available in Spider Zagato, LM or MM models. Entries include :
