Lancia Thema

The Lancia Thema was a large sedan produced between 1984 and 1994, embodying the Italian brand's top-of-the-range image in the '80s and early '90s. It succeeded the Lancia Gamma and was part of the Type 4 project, a common platform developed with the Fiat Croma, Alfa Romeo 164 and Saab 9000.

Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, Thema's design is distinguished by its sober, elegant lines. It combines comfort, technology and performance, while offering a wide range of engines, from economical diesel to very sporty versions.

The most emblematic version remains the Thema 8.32, equipped with a Ferrari-derived V8 engine, making it one of the most prestigious sedans of its era. Produced in over 350,000 units, the Thema was replaced in 1994 by the Lancia Kappa.
