Lancia Delta III

The Lancia Delta III marks the return of the Delta name to the Italian carmaker's range after the legendary Delta II was discontinued in 1999. Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, this third generation takes a very different direction from its famous sporty ancestors.

Positioned somewhere between a compact and a premium sedan, the Delta III focuses on elegant styling, a spacious interior and top-of-the-range equipment rather than sporty performance. It is based on the Fiat C-Evo platform, also used by the Fiat Bravo.

At 4.52 metres in length, it boasts a generous wheelbase and a modular interior, aiming to compete with some of Europe's premium compacts. Despite its qualities, sales will remain modest and production will come to an end in 2014.
