Lamborghini Urus

The Lamborghini URUS isn't exactly the brand's first SUV, since there was the LM001 concept, the LM002 production version and then the LM003 concept. Nevertheless, this URUS is the first model produced in quantity, as the brand sells more than 5,000 of them per year. Initially launched in 2017, the advanced SE version arrived in 2024 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Its successor is expected in 2029.

Versions

• Urus (2018 - 2022): first version of Lamborghini's SUV, equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 developing 650 hp.
• Urus S (since 2022): evolution of the original model with 666 hp, slightly reworked styling and more advanced tuning.
• Urus Performante (from 2022): a track-oriented, lighter and more dynamic version, lowered by 20 mm and with stiffer suspension. It features the 666 hp twin-turbo V8 with much more incisive handling.
• Urus SE (2024): first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the model, developing 800 hp combined.

Limited editions

In addition to the "standard" versions (Urus, Urus S, Urus Performante, Urus SE), Lamborghini also offered very exclusive versions of the Urus, including :

• The Urus Pearl Capsule: capsule series with pearlescent livery (e.g. Verde Mantis, Arancio Borealis, Giallo Inti) and two-tone treatment (roof/lower elements in gloss black); mechanically identical to the standard Urus.

• The Urus Graphite Capsule: another more personalized "capsule" version (aesthetics and finishes) offered by Lamborghini's Ad Personam.

• The very exclusive Urus Performante Essenza SCV12: limited to 40 units, reserved for owners of the Essenza SCV12 track hypercar. It's based on the Performante version, but with a customized livery, numerous carbon-fiber elements, a specific interior with plaques, and a direct link to the color/number of the Essenza SCV12.
