Ferrari Mondial

The Ferrari Mondial occupies a special place in Ferrari history. Introduced in 1980, it succeeded the 308 GT4 and became the first mid-engined 2+2 V8 Ferrari to be produced on a large scale. Designed to offer four real seats, enhanced comfort and greater versatility, the Mondial was aimed at a different clientele from the strictly sports sedans. Over the course of its career, the Mondial underwent numerous mechanical and aesthetic evolutions, progressively improving its performance and driving pleasure. The range concludes with the Mondial T, a thoroughly modernized version that corrects most of the criticisms levelled at the first Mondials.
