Alfa Romeo Stelvio (2025)

L'Alfa Romeo Stelvio is the second generation of the first Stelvio. While the first model released in 2017 was based on a Giorgio platform, the new generation uses the new, multi-energy compatible STLA Large platform. In April 2025, patent visuals were leaked, making it possible to produce visuals very close to reality.
Production
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is due to be unveiled at the end of 2025 for sale in spring 2026. Unions at the Cassino plant, where the model will be produced, are talking about a production start date of mid-2026.
The new Stevlio will be slightly longer and lower than the current Stelvio. Thanks to its STLA Large platform, it will have both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (AWD). Production will initially start with an electric version, as Alfa Romeo had originally planned to launch the Stelvio with electric power only. The decision to offer a hybrid alternative has been made for 2024, which means additional development time.
This was the first Alfa Romeo to be developed in 100 % by Stellantis, unlike the Tonale which, although launched by Stellantis, was developed by FCA on a Fiat base, then the Junior launched by Stellantis on a PSA base.
