On Italian streets, it's not unusual to see an Alfa Romeo catching the eye. But what Andrea, owner of an Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Q4, experienced went beyond mere admiration. When he found a piece of paper slipped under his windscreen wiper, he initially thought it was a fine. However, as he got closer, the reality turned out to be far more unexpected... and touching.

"I thought it was a parking ticket," says Andrea on a Facebook group for Alfa Romeo owners. In fact, it was the most beautiful gift imaginable."

On the sheet, a few handwritten words:

"The most beautiful Giulia I've ever seen. I'm the one parked next to it with the BMW. The color is splendid."

A simple, sincere message, but all the more surprising because it came from... a young 21-year-old carabiniere who owns a BMW. The policeman, seduced by the lines of the Italian sedan, couldn't resist sharing his admiration.

This little scene, which has gone viral on social networks, perfectly illustrates what Alfa Romeo still represents in the hearts of enthusiasts: a symbol of elegance, passion and Italian identity. Even among those who drive German.

The car in question, an Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Q4 Bianco Lunare, is equipped with a 280 hp 2.0 turbo petrol engine, all-wheel drive and an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. With its black wheels, small carbon-effect spoiler and matching diffuser, it embodies the perfect balance between sportiness and refinement - the kind of car that turns heads, even those of a law enforcement officer.

At a time when the Alfa Romeo Giulia, despite its recognized qualities, is becoming increasingly rare on Italian roads, this episode is a reminder that, for many, it remains "the most beautiful car in the world that nobody buys anymore".

  2. This carabiniere who puts down a kind word is so right. The Giulia is by far the most beautiful sedan on the market, with the best chassis (the Giorgio platform is a pure marvel), and unrivalled driving pleasure in its class, yet sales are so modest. The malus is a handicap, but the malus has only become a deterrent in recent years.
Makes you wonder if drivers are only interested in tasteless movers with XL multimedia screens.
