It's a wink that would please alfists! After joining the Scuderia Ferrarithe Englishman had the opportunity to discover not only his new team, but also another icon of Italian motoring: Alfa Romeo.
In fact, in parallel with his first test day with Ferrari at Fioranowhere he took his place behind the wheel of a single-seater, Hamilton was spotted on the track with an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, a vehicle that often accompanies Ferrari drivers on logistical trips.
During chis first day of testing at Fioranothe excitement of the tifosis, the cameras also captured an image of Lewis Hamilton with the Stelvio. This SUV, highly appreciated for its performance and design, is used for logistical travel, as well as for Ferrari advertising shoots.
Of course, once the test day is over, Ferrari drivers can choose the vehicle they want for their personal journeys. Not surprisingly, former Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz owns a number of high-performance Ferraris, including a Ferrari Daytona SP3 and an 812 Competizione. For his part, Charles Leclerc makes no secret of his passion for Ferrari models, going so far as to own an SF90 Stradale as well as a Ferrari Purosangue SUV. But despite this freedom of choice, it's still interesting to note that, even for everyday travel, Alfa Romeo continues to be a key partner for Ferrari.
