Did you dream of getting your hands on an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, the radical sedan produced in just 500 examples? Were you on the waiting list, or did the budget - over €176,000 incl. VAT at the time - put you off? A surprising alternative has just surfaced... and it may well appeal to some enthusiasts.
A Maserati dealer in the west of France is currently offering a Alfa Romeo A very special Giulia: a 2016 Giulia Quadrifoglio, equipped with a 6-speed mechanical gearbox - a rare detail in itself, since this version was not produced after 2017. With just 35,000 kilometers on the odometer, it boasts a reassuring mileage record for a potential collector's model.

But what's most striking is its appearance: it sports a complete Giulia GTAm body kit by Koshi Group, a company well known to enthusiasts of high-end automotive accessories, particularly for its carbon parts. The cost of the parts alone is estimated at around €15,000, excluding fitting and painting. The transformation includes hood, bumper, fender flares, spoiler, diffuser and side skirts: a true GTAm look.

A real fake GTAm, but at what price?

Mechanically, this Giulia remains true to its original DNA: 2.9 twin-turbo 510 hp V6 engine, rear-wheel drive and, of course, the much sought-after manual gearbox. Unlike the real GTAm, there are no bucket seats with harnesses, no roll bars, and no polycarbonate windows. The interior remains that of a classic Quadrifoglio, as do the brakes and engine management.
But for €75,000, less than half the new price of a GTAm, this Giulia offers a surprising compromise: the ultra-aggressive allure of a track-homologated collector, with the pure driving pleasure of a manual gearbox, and at a more reasonable price. As a reminder, in 2021 the official GTAm offered a far more extreme configuration: 540 hp, 100 kg lighter, no rear seat, roll bar, carbon bucket seats, carbon-ceramic brakes... all elements justifying its elitist positioning.
May 2025, a real GTAm sold at auction with 17,500 km and an estimated price of between €200,000 and €270,000, depending on version and finish. This is a different philosophy, but not necessarily a bad deal.
The deal not to be missed?

If your aim is to drive something different, this converted Giulia could be just what you're looking for. The well-executed Koshi kit gives the car a real presence, without falling into approximation. The manual gearbox gives it an undeniable advantage in terms of feel, at a time when the vast majority of Giulia Quadrifoglio models are only available with automatic gearboxes.
Admittedly, it's not a real GTAm. There are no limited numbers, but at €75,000, it's probably the most affordable way to get close to the myth, without the constraints or budget of a true limited series.
You might as well buy a genuine Giulia Quadrifoglio, without the body kit that's really tuning. A Quadrifoglio is not a GTAm.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no point in buying a quadrifolio equipped with a body kit but without the interior, with the roll bar and the carbon bucket seats, so I prefer to buy the real GTAm, otherwise I don't buy anything.
