At the prestigious Monterey Car Week 2025, RM Sotheby's will be auctioning an exceptional collection of eleven Alfa Romeo from the "Quadrifoglio Collection". The name refers to the famous green four-leaf clover, the mythical symbol of the brand's sports models. Some of these Italian nuggets boast impressive racing histories... and one of them could fetch over two million dollars.
Plunging into Alfa Romeo's golden age of sport

These Alfa Romeos, produced between 1958 and 1974, cover one of the most exciting periods in the brand's history: the period when it lined up cars as beautiful as they were powerful, from the Giulietta Spider to the T33/2 Daytona racing prototype. All are sold with no reserve price, promising a lively auction.

The centerpiece is undoubtedly the 1968 Alfa Romeo T33/2 "Daytona", estimated at between $1.7 and $2 million. This thoroughbred racer, designed to rival Porsche, boasts a unique record of achievements: sixth place in the 1968 Daytona 24 Hours, stops at Sebring and an epic journey that took it as far as Angola before disappearing for years. Today, only ten examples of this model are known to exist, making it a real Grail for collectors.
