Der von Tom Tjaarda bei Ghia entworfene Longchamp war ein luxuri\u00f6ser und leistungsstarker Tourenwagen, der mit den italienischen und britischen GT-Coup\u00e9s der damaligen Zeit konkurrierte. Der Longchamp basierte auf einer klassischen Architektur mit V8-Frontmotor und Heckantrieb, verwendete aber einen amerikanischen Ford V8 und bot damit eine Mischung aus Muscle Car und italienischer Raffinesse. Das Modell diente auch als technische Grundlage f\u00fcr den Maserati
