Seit mehreren Wochen taucht immer wieder eine Meldung um Stellantis<\/a> : Die Gruppe soll beschlossen haben, ihre Anstrengungen auf vier vorrangige Marken zu konzentrieren, n\u00e4mlich Fiat<\/a>, Peugeot, Jeep und RAM. Eine Orientierung, die manche Beobachter \u00fcberraschen mag, vor allem wenn man sich das gigantische Portfolio des franz\u00f6sisch-italienisch-amerikanischen Herstellers ansieht. Doch hinter dieser Entscheidung erscheint die industrielle und finanzielle Logik letztlich recht klar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stellantis will die Z\u00e4hler schnell wieder auf Gr\u00fcn stellen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nach einer komplizierten Zeit mit r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufigen Ums\u00e4tzen in mehreren M\u00e4rkten, hohen Lagerbest\u00e4nden und unter Druck geratenen Gewinnspannen scheint Stellantis nun eher auf sofortige Effizienz als auf riskante langfristige Wetten zu setzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum diese vier Marken? Ganz einfach, weil es sich bereits um globale Marken handelt, die in der Lage sind, schnell Volumen zu generieren. Jeep, Peugeot und Fiat haben jeweils einen weltweiten Jahresabsatz von \u00fcber einer Million Fahrzeugen. Sie verf\u00fcgen bereits \u00fcber starke Netzwerke, geeignete Fabriken und vor allem \u00fcber einen festen Kundenstamm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Ziel ist also einfach: Maximierung der Ums\u00e4tze, Wiederherstellung der Gewinne und schnellstm\u00f6gliche Auslastung der Fabriken. Im Klartext: Stellantis sucht vor allem nach Marken, die schnell sichtbare Ergebnisse liefern k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Gegensatz dazu sind einige italienische Marken der Gruppe noch zu schwach, um das Wachstum des Unternehmens allein zu tragen. Lancia hat kaum mehr als 10.000 Verk\u00e4ufe pro Jahr, Alfa Romeo liegt bei etwa 70.000 Einheiten, w\u00e4hrend Maserati unter 10.000 Exemplare gefallen ist. Das bedeutet nicht, dass sie aufgegeben werden, bei weitem nicht. Aber sie m\u00fcssen noch beweisen, dass sie wieder rentabel und profitabel werden und wieder eine echte Gesch\u00e4ftsdynamik entwickeln k\u00f6nnen. In der n\u00e4chsten Zeit sind es eindeutig nicht diese Autos, die Stellantis Rekordums\u00e4tze bescheren werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum Fiat gegen\u00fcber Opel und Citro\u00ebn bevorzugt wurde<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Auf dem Papier war die Entscheidung f\u00fcr Fiat jedoch alles andere als offensichtlich. In Europa ist die italienische Marke schon lange nicht mehr dominant. Im Jahr 2025 wird Opel rund 400.000 und Citro\u00ebn rund 350.000 Fahrzeuge pro Jahr verkaufen, w\u00e4hrend Fiat unter 300.000 Einheiten bleibt. Stellantis denkt jedoch nicht mehr nur auf europ\u00e4ischer Ebene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genau hier macht Fiat den Unterschied. Die italienische Marke hat immer noch eine extrem starke Pr\u00e4senz in mehreren strategischen Regionen der Welt. In Lateinamerika, insbesondere in Brasilien und Argentinien, hat Fiat seit Jahren gute Ergebnisse erzielt und mittlerweile mehr als 600.000 Fahrzeuge pro Jahr verkauft. Die Marke profitiert dort von einem sehr popul\u00e4ren Image und einer Produktpalette, die perfekt auf die lokalen Erwartungen zugeschnitten ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hinzu kommt eine historische Pr\u00e4senz in Nordafrika und rund um das Mittelmeer mit M\u00e4rkten wie der T\u00fcrkei, Algerien oder Marokko. Diese Pr\u00e4senz verleiht Fiat eine wirklich internationale Dimension, die Citro\u00ebn und Opel nicht haben. Wenn man Europa, Lateinamerika und Nordafrika zusammenz\u00e4hlt, kommt Fiat auf weit \u00fcber eine Million verkaufte Einheiten pro Jahr. Und vor allem ist Stellantis der Ansicht, dass das Wachstumspotenzial nach wie vor enorm ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiat als zuk\u00fcnftiger Wachstumsmotor f\u00fcr Stellantis?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Der Konzern glaubt offensichtlich sehr stark an ein Comeback von Fiat in Europa. Sein CEO, Olivier Fran\u00e7ois, hat dies \u00fcbrigens k\u00fcrzlich bekr\u00e4ftigt: Fiat will Wachstumsmotor f\u00fcr Stellantis auf dem europ\u00e4ischen Markt werden<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diese Ambition beruht auf einer sehr klaren Strategie: schnell eine breite, erschwingliche und preisaggressive Modellpalette anzubieten. Mit den neuen Modellen, die in den n\u00e4chsten Monaten erwartet werden, hofft Stellantis, dass Fiat in Europa wieder hohe St\u00fcckzahlen erreichen und gleichzeitig das bereits solide Wachstum in Lateinamerika und Nordafrika fortsetzen kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dies war wahrscheinlich der ausschlaggebende Punkt gegen\u00fcber Opel und Citro\u00ebn. Beide Marken sind nach wie vor stark vom europ\u00e4ischen Markt abh\u00e4ngig. Sie k\u00f6nnen zwar noch Fortschritte machen, werden aber unweigerlich an die Grenzen eines reifen, wettbewerbsintensiven und stagnierenden europ\u00e4ischen Marktes sto\u00dfen. Im Gegensatz dazu verf\u00fcgt Fiat noch \u00fcber mehrere internationale Wachstumspfade, die bereits in Betrieb sind. Und vor allem kann er im Gegensatz zu anderen Marken des Konzerns schnell wachsen, ohne kolossale Investitionen zu ben\u00f6tigen, um auf neuen Kontinenten wieder Fu\u00df zu fassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letztendlich scheint Stellantis' Wahl weniger emotional als wirtschaftlich zu sein: Unter Opel, Citro\u00ebn und Fiat scheint die italienische Marke heute in der Lage zu sein, das meiste Wachstum zu generieren -
