Als gro\u00dfes, unauff\u00e4lliges V12-Coup\u00e9, das in der Geschichte der Marke oft vergessen wurde, schien er dazu verurteilt, im Schatten von Testarossa, F40 oder 550 Maranello zu bleiben. Und doch beschloss ein Besitzer in den USA, sein Schicksal v\u00f6llig neu zu schreiben... selbst auf die Gefahr hin, fast 2 Millionen Dollar daf\u00fcr auszugeben. Das Ergebnis? Der wahrscheinlich radikalste, teuerste und beeindruckendste Ferrari 412, der je gebaut wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Projekt von Otsuka Maxwell Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit dieser extremen Restomod wurde Otsuka Maxwell Design (OMD) beauftragt, eine in San Diego ans\u00e4ssige Werkstatt, die f\u00fcr ihre kompromisslosen Ma\u00dfanfertigungen bekannt ist. \u00dcber 5.000 Arbeitsstunden waren n\u00f6tig, um den 412 von Grund auf umzubauen. Der urspr\u00fcngliche V12-Motor ist weg. An seiner Stelle installierte OMD den 6,5-Liter-V12-Saugmotor des Ferrari 812 Superfast, einen der spektakul\u00e4rsten Motoren, die Ferrari je gebaut hat. Die Integration beschr\u00e4nkte sich jedoch nicht auf einen einfachen Swap. Um die optische Verbindung zur \u00c4ra des 412 zu verst\u00e4rken, erhielt der Motor spezielle Ventilabdeckungen im Retro-Stil. Technisch gesehen ist die Transformation noch tiefgreifender, da der Ansaugtrakt und die Airbox vollst\u00e4ndig aus ma\u00dfgefertigtem Karbon bestehen. Der Ferrari 812 Superfast wurde noch nie mit einem Schaltgetriebe angeboten. Was soll's: OMD nahm die Herausforderung an. Die Werkstatt ging vom Automatikgetriebe eines Ferrari 599 GTB aus und baute es komplett um, um ein manuelles Sechsganggetriebe mit Metallgitter zu schaffen. Die Karosserie ist in Superfast Gold mit Schwarz gehalten, was eine Anspielung auf den Ferrari 812 ist. Die \u00c4nderungen sind zahlreich: neu gestaltete, kompaktere Sto\u00dfstangen, breitere Kotfl\u00fcgel und geschmiedete 18-Zoll-Felgen von Brixton, die eigens f\u00fcr das Projekt entwickelt wurden. OMD hat den Innenraum mit einer Mischung aus Alcantara, hochwertigem Leder und Karbon v\u00f6llig neu gestaltet.
