Der Stratos, der durch Bertones Stratos Zero-Konzept einige Jahre zuvor entstanden war, wurde f\u00fcr den Rennsport konzipiert und war keine Stra\u00dfenlimousine, die sp\u00e4ter f\u00fcr den Rennsport vorbereitet wurde. Sein Design war darauf ausgelegt, die Eingriffe der Mechaniker zu optimieren, die Linienf\u00fchrung war sehr niedrig und aerodynamisch mit der ber\u00fchmten \"Visier\"-Verglasung, und das alles ohne auf seine Seele zu z\u00e4hlen: einen 2,4-Liter-V6-Motor, der in der hinteren Mitte montiert war.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zwischen 1975 und 1978 dominierte der Stratos sein Thema und gewann mehrere Weltmeistertitel und zahlreiche nationale Titel. Danach gab FIAT dem 131 Abarth den Vorzug bei der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft, wodurch der Stratos in der Europameisterschaft zur\u00fcckfiel. Dennoch gelangen dem Stratto noch einige denkw\u00fcrdige Coups, wie zum Beispiel Bernard Darniche, der 1981 die Tour de Corse gewann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"612\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/lancia-stratos.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/lancia-stratos.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/lancia-stratos-420x268.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/lancia-stratos-768x490.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/lancia-stratos-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Auch auf der Rennstrecke<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Stratos wurde auch f\u00fcr die Gruppe 5 \"Silhouette\"-Kategorie auf der Rennstrecke entwickelt, aber es war nicht mehr die Rede von einem Dino V6, da der Stratos Gr.5 Fiat-Abarth einen Abarth-Reihenvierzylindermotor mit 1429 cm\u00b3 verwendete, der von einem KKK-Turbo aufgepumpt wurde. Aber wie so oft erleben die Rallyeboliden aus dieser Zeit eine \"zweite Jugend\" im Rallycross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-420x213.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-768x389.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-groupe-5-18x9.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ein weltweit einzigartiger Lancia 3.0L V6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gab einen einzigen Stratos mit einem 3,0-Liter-Motor: ein experimentelles Rallycross-Training, das mit den Teams von Andy Bentza und Franz Wurz, dem Vater von Alexander Wurz, in Verbindung gebracht wurde. Der Sohn eines Fahrers, der in den 1950er Jahren auf einem BMW 328 seine ersten Erfahrungen gesammelt hatte, wurde 1974 und 1976 (auf einem Lancia Stratos HF 2.4) der erste zweifache Europameister im Rallycross. F\u00fcr die Saison 1977 der Rallycross-Europameisterschaft lieferte Mike Parkes, ein Fahrer und Ingenieur, der am Prototyp des Stratos gearbeitet hatte, einen 24-Ventil-Zylinderkopf und eine spezielle Kurbelwelle, die den Hubraum auf knapp unter 3.000 cm\u00b3 ansteigen lie\u00dfen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycrss-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rallycross-geeignet und Champion!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sie stellten Kolben mit einem gr\u00f6\u00dferen Durchmesser her und nahmen weitere Bearbeitungs\u00e4nderungen vor. Der Motor leistete um die 320 PS. Da das Auto beim Rallycross nicht auf der Stra\u00dfe fahren sollte, war der Auspuff frei, es gab also weder einen Schalld\u00e4mpfer noch einen Auspufftopf. Das Auto wurde auch an die Einschr\u00e4nkungen des Rallycross angepasst: Um den Federweg zu vergr\u00f6\u00dfern, wurde der Befestigungspunkt des hinteren Sto\u00dfd\u00e4mpfers weiter nach oben verlegt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycross.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-44354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycross.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycross-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycross-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.italpassion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/lancia-stratos-rallycross-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bentza \u00fcbernahm den Stratos von Wurz, verkaufte seinen eigenen Stratos 2,4 L 12V und gewann 1978 den Titel in der GT-Klasse der ERC mit diesem weltweit einzigartigen 3-Liter-Stratos, der bis Ende 1983 von Bentza gefahren wurde. Bentza behielt den Wagen bis in die 1980er Jahre und verkaufte ihn dann schlie\u00dflich an Alexander Wurz.
