Stellen Sie sich die Wahnvorstellung vor: Lancia l\u00f6st FIAT in der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft Anfang der 80er Jahre nicht ab. Der 131 Abarth ist noch tapfer, aber Audi revolutioniert den Rallyesport mit dem Quattro. Dann kommt Peugeot mit seinem kleinen 205, der die Vorteile von Kleinwagen aufzeigt, um Gewicht zu sparen und agiler zu werden. Fiat muss reagieren und stellt wider Erwarten den Ritmo Abarth zugunsten eines Panda Gruppe B ein!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieses Delirium ist nicht weit entfernt von dem, was das einzigartige Projekt darstellt, das M-Sport 2021 enth\u00fcllt hat: Panda by M-Sport. Ein radikaler Fiat Panda 4\u00d74, der f\u00fcr Rallyes vorbereitet wird. Der echte Panda wurde dank seiner ber\u00fchmten 4\u00d74-Version als furchterregender Allesk\u00f6nner schon oft f\u00fcr Rallye-Raid-Eins\u00e4tze vorbereitet, aber nie so extrem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wenn man an M-Sport denkt, denkt man eher an Ford. Der RS Cosworth, der Focus WRC, der Fiesta RS WRC, der Puma Rally 1 und nicht zuletzt der R2\/R5 verlassen seit 1997 die Werkst\u00e4tten des Unternehmens von Malcolm Wilson. Das Projekt Panda 4\u00d74 stellte jedoch eine ganz andere Herausforderung dar: die Konstruktion eines Fahrzeugs nach Ma\u00df f\u00fcr einen Kunden. Das Ingenieurteam nahm die Grundlagen eines Fiesta R5 Mk1 als Ausgangspunkt - das erfolgreichste Kundensportfahrzeug, das M-Sport je hergestellt hat. Es ist quadratisch, kubisch, es macht aus dem rustikalen Panda kein Topmodell, aber es ist herrlich too much.
