Mirafiori, in dem seit den 1950er Jahren Fiat-Fahrzeuge produziert werden, stellt ein Symbol f\u00fcr die Marke, aber auch f\u00fcr die Stadt Turin und die italienische Regierung dar. Die Verlagerung der Produktion des Fiat 500, einer Ikone der italienischen Stadtmobilit\u00e4t, h\u00e4tte als eine Absage an diese lange Geschichte und als ein Schlag gegen das Image von Fiat angesehen werden k\u00f6nnen.
