Seit mehreren Jahren zeigt Stellantis einen klaren Willen, in eine 100 % elektrische Zukunft zu gehen, insbesondere durch seinen strategischen Plan Dare Forward 2030<\/strong>. Dennoch spielte die PHEV-Technologie bis vor kurzem nur eine marginale Rolle in der Modellpalette. Im Gegensatz dazu haben Hersteller wie BMW, Volvo und Porsche Plug-in-Hybride zu einem Eckpfeiler ihrer Strategie gemacht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die j\u00fcngsten Entwicklungen rund um den Motor 1.6L Turbo Plug-in-Hybrid<\/strong> markieren daher einen bedeutenden Bruch. Dieser Motor, genannt EP6 GEN3<\/strong>hat bereits mit der Produktion begonnen in Juli 2024<\/strong> im ungarischen Werk Szentgotth\u00e1rd. Im selben Werk wird auch der 1.2L GEN3-Motor hergestellt, was seine strategische Bedeutung im europ\u00e4ischen \u00d6kosystem von Stellantis weiter st\u00e4rkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Szentgotth\u00e1rd: Im Zentrum der europ\u00e4ischen PHEV-Strategie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das ehemalige Opel-Werk im ungarischen Szentgotth\u00e1rd wurde modernisiert, um den Bed\u00fcrfnissen von Stellantis gerecht zu werden. Mit einem angek\u00fcndigten Jahresvolumen von 220.000 Einheiten<\/strong>Dieser 1,6-Liter-PHEV-Motor wird in den europ\u00e4ischen Modellen der Konzernmarken eingesetzt, die die Plattformen STLA Medium<\/strong> und STLA Large<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine Produktion, die nicht nur f\u00fcr Europa gedacht ist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend sich das Werk in Szentgotth\u00e1rd auf die europ\u00e4ische Produktion konzentriert, werden einige Motoren auch ins Ausland verschifft (ohne Angabe der L\u00e4nder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In den USA bleibt die Unsicherheit bez\u00fcglich der Integration des 1.6L PHEV-Motors bestehen, da der nordamerikanische Markt noch immer die Bl\u00f6cke bevorzugt GME<\/strong> (2.0L und 3.0L). Vor einigen Monaten wurde jedoch angek\u00fcndigt, dass dieser 1.6L-Motor wird auch in den USA im Werk Dundee produziert werden<\/a>in Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum jetzt ein 1.6L PHEV-Motor?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Die PHEV-Strategie von Stellantis baut stark auf den Fortschritten seines Joint Ventures auf Punch Powertrain<\/strong>. Die Entwicklung der \u00dcbertragung e-DCT Plug-in<\/strong> hat einen technologischen Meilenstein erreicht. Unter extremen Bedingungen in Spanien und Finnland getestet<\/a>e ist dieser Plug-in-Hybridantrieb nun bereit f\u00fcr die Serienproduktion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Ziel von 220 000 Einheiten ist ehrgeizig und dennoch unerl\u00e4sslich.<\/strong> Laut Jato Dynamics bel\u00e4uft sich der Anteil der PHEV-Fahrzeuge in Europa in der ersten H\u00e4lfte des Jahres 2024 auf 489.000 Einheiten, wobei sich kein Stellantis-Fahrzeug unter den Top 10 befindet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
